Best Restaurants In Miami

Miami’s Top Five Bars
Miami is world famous for its beaches, attractions and wildlife, but little known is its growing fame for its bars and bespoke beer halls. The bar scene in Miami has always been big, but they are all carbon copies, full of sculpted bodies and pretence, however there is a growing subculture of genuine bars that serve home brewed, domestic and imported beers.
With that in mind, if you are in Miami be sure to check out these drinking halls to sample some of Miami’s finest and rarest drinks.
5. Titanic Restaurant and Brewery
The Titanic Restaurant and Brewery is aimed at beer drinker, with award winning beers coming from their in house brewery. Unlike other breweries they occasionally make a fusion of their in house beers with some of the worlds finest spirits giving them that extra kick of intensity and flavour. The Titanic does do food, but like everything else in the bar it is centred around beer drinkers, so hearty helpings of chicken wings and ribs.
4. The Room
The room is a fantastic little hideaway for those that want to find an intimate little niche to get away from the hustle and bustle of Miami beaches chain bars. Lit by candle light and a sleek bar combine to give the bar a romantic feel. Add to that a wide selection of beers, cocktails and wines and you’ve got the makings of a perfect date location.
3. The Abbey Brewing Company
The Abbey Brewing Company describes itself as a friendly European style pub. Home brewed beer and friendly conversation are the draws to this beachfront pub. Tie that with a selection of drinks that you won’t find anywhere else and a decent bar menu and you have the recipe for a great drinking hole.
2. Zeke’s
If you weren’t looking for Zeke’s you would probably miss it, but that is what gives Zeke’s half of its charm. It is not a big chain pub crammed with people, it is an independent one of a kind bespoke bar. Although the décor isn’t much and at times it can be cramped the wide selection of beers, wines and spirits and the laid back, informal ‘hang out’ atmosphere makes it one of the best bars in Miami.
1. Lunar Star Café
Lunar Star Café is one of the new types of Miami’s bars. A friendly, laid back atmosphere is host to over 120 varieties of beers and some of the rarest spirits and liquors. It’s called a café because that is what it feels like, the Lunar Star Café plays host to open mic nights and acoustic sessions. It serves bar food such as pizza and pasta to fill up hungry drinkers. The Lunar Star Café firmly establishes its place on this list as it has great drinks a laid back atmosphere and friendly staff, without a speedo in sight!
When catching flights to Miami bare in mind that there are alternative to the big chain bars that seem to dominate the beach front, once you uncover these diamond in the rough you won’t be disappointed!
Remember that most of these bars cater to beer drinkers but the majority of them make some mean cocktails.
