My girlfriend and I are going to Miami for an extended weekend. We are staying at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove b/c we didnt want to be in the hustle and bustle of South Beach – but we are renting a car so that we can go anywhere.

I want this to be a very fun and special time. What are the BEST restaurants in the Miami area (Coconut Grove, South Beach, anywhere in or near Miami)? Price is not an issue. Please only list places that have something “special” about them. For instance, any old steakhouse won’t do… but a place with wonderful ambiance.. maybe a nice view of the beach.. etc. would be appreciated.

I’m also interested in nice spas in the area. There’s a spa at the Ritz that we are staying at, however, I’m still interested in knowing of other places that may have more options.
