Florida Everglades Map
“Florida Bay” vs. “Gulf of Florida”?
Does anyone hear know what the difference between the “Florida Bay” and the “Gulf of Florida”? I don’t know if they are the same, or if they are two distinct places. A quick google search isn’t bringing up anything useful.
fyi: I’m trying to describe the historical range of the Everglades.
If you know, please enlighten me. A map would be appreciated.
This is a detailed large map of the Everglades showing the Florida Bay. I could not find a reference to the Gulf of Florida period. It must be a local word for the Florida Bay.
