Can someone please chance me for MIT?
I want to study engineering at MIT. I’m going to be a senior. Here are my stats:
SAT: 1540/2280 (800M, 740V, 740W)
SAT II: 800 Math II, 800 Spanish, (Still haven’t taken Science)
GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 6.9 weighted
IB Student
Rigorous course load with 9 AP’s and 6 IB’s throughout all four years
Background: Hispanic
Location: Miami, Florida
I’ve won several school awards for top IB student and for top student in course-specific subjects. I was a HOBY alumni. I have an internship with the Congressman of Florida Mario Diaz-Balart.I have 400 hours of comm. service. Varsity golf for 4 years. Also, Mu Alpha Theta vice president and recycling club president. Member of national honor society, and science honor society.
Chance me for MIT 2015?
You have a better chance than a lot of people. Most people I’d tell not to bother but you, you have a pretty good chance really. I would still suggest that you apply to a few other places.
You don’t mention what degree you’d be going for, but I honestly think you could get into any college in America.
