i recently downgraded my presario laptop, from vista to xp, how can i go to vista again…?
i downgraded thinking that my programs are more compatible with the lower version, since then, some functions are disabled, and it keep on asking for a driver, thing…..sorry not a computer whiz, just pretending to be one…i’m here in port everglades, florida USA is there somewhere i can have this fixed??? and how much would it cos me??? thanks guys!!!

You haven’t mentioned how did you install XP on the computer.I am not sure if you have the recovery partition safe.
Normally installation of Vista is very easy.Use the vista disk that came along with the computer to re-install Vista.It might have the label recovery disk.In case if you didnt get the disk for re-installing Vista,check if you have a hidden recovery partition inside the computer(Look for a D: drive in “My computer” which you cant open and which might give a message mentioning about recovery partition).You can re-install Vista from the hidden partition.I guess it is done by pressing F10 or F11 soon after you start the computer.
If my explanation didnt make any sense,please contact your computer manufacturer HP and tell them to restore your computer to the original manufacturer settings by re-installing Vista
